Immortal in Death de J D Robb

Leitura rápida e agradável.

Neste livro não existem mais novos inventos no ano de 2000-e-troca-o-passo, esta parte eu tinha gostado bastante no outro livro, mas aborda a questão da beleza e da moda em algum detalhe. Apesar de ser num mundo futuro alternativo não existe muita diferença naquilo que faz o mundo girar: dinheiro e ganância, aproveitando conceitos antigos para vender como a fonte da juventude.

Além do acima encontramos Eve com o casamento com Roarke às portas, a tentar manter a calma e o senso comum no lugar, e várias investigações em mãos, que a partida parecem ser diferentes mas estão interligadas, e muito próximas de casa. Vemos igualmente Eve a revelar um pouco do seu passado, a violência que sofreu nas mãos dos seu pai, e a enfrentá-lo na primeira pessoa chegando a solicitar a ajuda da psiquiatra policial para se tornar uma melhor pessoa, uma melhor policial e no fim, uma melhor esposa.
